EEC WASTE LEGISLATION

· All farm waste “industrial” no on farm disposal.
· Any farm disposal, farm has to be registered landfill site.
· Environment Agency does not want extra sites.
· Farmer becomes waste holder, has a duty under legislation.

· Collect, store and recycle farm waste.
· Pesticide plastic containers, seed/fert bags, silage wrap, crop cover.
· Triple rinsed container non-hazardous waste.
· ACCS crop assurance schemes, proof of safe disposal.
